How to reach The Profile Store:

Question: How can I get reach The Profile Store webpage.
Answer: Always go to: www.atlascopco.com/profilestore or links provided from:

Who can order? / Access issues:

Question: Can I order for personal use, i.e. with credit card? Is it possible to buy T shirts for personal purposes with company logo on it. Many employees ask this question.
Answer: Yes, our intention is to offer a solution for employees (personal use) in Phase II of the project. (Main issue to solve is how to be cost efficient with transport costs and how to deal with the consumer laws which differ from country to country). After phase II, employees will be allowed to order for private use (this solution is not valid for all companies/countries, since there are legal restrictions, but where it's possible, of course first GM's will be contacted beforehand to evaluate if that is an option they want to implement locally

Question: Is there any control mechanism of who is permitted to order? We want our people to access the webshop but we don't want particular sales engineers to order gifts directly by themselves because we have to follow a certain approval cycle and all the time they need their Business Line Manager's approval. And we also want to be sure that there is nobody orderign to our company account without any control.
Answer: Regarding the authorization of users, the previous system, Atlas Copco Gear was open to all employees (the userid and pw was well-known by all Atlas Copco employees since it was published in The Way and all Brand Manuals as a public document) as employees are supossed to respect the local prokura regulations and invoicing approval workflow, but anyhow, I can understand your concern so you can discuss with Creon to look for the solution that suits better to your country. Anyhow, if you just want to authorize/unthorize certain people in your company, we can arrange that with Creon. Please, come back with more detailed info and we can discuss with them.

Stock and items:

Question: Is there an initial stocking done to cope with the high orders during the start-up (we were without AC Gear for a while)?
Answer: Most of the basic products have a large stock from the start. However, this is a new tool, and we and our supplier will need to learn about the yearly turnover, and we hope we can meet all the demands.

Question: Any stock availability info available?
Answer: The stock value of each product is displayed in real time so you will always know exactly the amount in stock. The same goes for incoming items. You can always see exactly what and how many products that will arrive and you can also pre-order incoming items.

Question: How can I find printed matters?
Answer: Printed matters are not available in The Profile Store. They can be ordered in The Village

Question: Just wanted to know where do the items come from ? which Country. as you can imagine freight to Australia can be very expensive, is it possible to find out freight costs before we confirm orders as sometimes if the freight it very high it is not worthwhile placing orders First of all, Creon never ship out anything before you has confirmed the cost of freight. Pls also note that all orders above USD 1150 are subsidized and the maximum freight cost are 20% of order value which is really cost efficient considering the distance and that you get the goods within 2-4 days. Kindly try to plan your orders with respect to both the cost of freight and the environment!

Question: Is there a plan to include the models, product specific promotional material on this site or will these still need to be ordered separately?
Answer: Yes, our supplier is working together with the divisions in a scale model project, although this kind of projects take long time. Product specific promotional material will not be available in the Profile Store website. However, pls contact our supplier with your specific request and they will come back to you with proposals. It's important that we use the same supplier even when it comes to product specific promotional material in order to make sure we at all times produce according to the brand guideline and code of conduct.

Question: We have a selection of hats from our local supplier today. Can we get these in the Profile Store?
Answer: Divisional items will not be shown in the Profile Store. It's the intention of the shop to only show Atlas Copco branded general products and not Divisional ones These items have been selected by the project team and approved by the Group, so no other items appart from these will be shown.

Question: What about the Atlas Copco stickers? now there are only distributors stickers on the Profilestore. Will be AC stickers available in the future?
Answer: Yes, decals and stickers will be in the web available for ordering in the next coming weeks

Question: Are the business lines gifts totally cancelled, or it will be available later on? There were special section for ACTA on the gear, - different colours of the gifts (yellow, black) and what is more important -gifts related to products - we used them for product launches and campaigns. This section we miss a lot,
Answer: Divisional/ Product specific items will not be shown in the Profile Store. However, pls contact our supplier with your specific request and they will come back to you with proposals. It's important that we use the same supplier even when it comes to product specific promotional material in order to make sure we at all times produce according to the brand guideline and code of conduct. When campaigns, fairs, etc... , you can contact directly to Creon (profilestore@creon.se), whith a short briefing of what your needs are and they will come back with a proposal (Creon has been trained on Atlas Copco branding guidelines) and advise you about quantities. These divisional items will be invoiced and sent to you but they will not be shown in the shop.

Question: Will we be ordering these items from Sweden? In the past, we have not been able to order any textiles from Sweden and have them shipped to the United States. Answer (Creon): What we have to do is look into which of the products/textiles you are interested in and then investigate it product by product. We have done as much as possible in order to make custom clearance as easy as possible for as many countries as possible. As an example, we have marked our products with country of origin, most of the times directly on the products and when that's not possible on the packaging. Still, different laws and regulations make it sometimes hard and the US customs is not always easy to deal with. However, I'm sure we can find a workable way to cooperate and we look forward to give you best possible support and service.

Question: Now that this store is launched, are we actually prohibited from ordering other promotional items on our own?
Answer: Regarding your question about prohibions, of course it's not a prohibition but we want to be sure that our promotional material communicates the same values as our products and solutions, that's why we have trained Creon in the way to assure that our assortment of products will always meet our brand guidelines Each item in the shop has been selected and discussed by the project team, and finally approved by Corporate.

Service Workwear:

Question: I have a question about the "Pre-ordering on work wear is possible from today" on page 15 on the presentation. If I pre-order work wear today, please tell me when I can get the work wear. In the Profile Store you can see exactly when all items will be in stock and it's also possible to pre-order. When it comes to the work wear it will be in stock in the beginning of November.

Question: Will you add service branded gifts to profile store?
Answer: The intention is to strengthen our only brand - Atlas Copco, so no service branded stuff will be available.

Payment:

Question: Can also AC employees use a credit card for payment? We would like to set the procedure within our customer centre where only some people will be allowed to order directly (orders on some regular basis). In cases of some urgents needs we would like to have an option that our people can order and pay by their credit cards - is it possible to choose the way of payment?
Answer: Payment with credit card is only allowed for distributors and external companies. All Atlas Copco Companies have the same payment terms (60 days) In phase II of the project, we will add the option "credit card" for Atlas Copco employees when ordering for personal use

Question: I'm planning to divulge this website among ITBA Brazil but I have a doubt about how our employees must register themselves if they want to pay for their items by personal credit card. I tried to register myself as "Atlas Copco employee" and I made an order and in the conclusion I was informed that invoice would come to Atlas Copco. I registered me again informing that I'm from other company and the credit card payment was available in the check out. Most of our corporate purchase are made by me (Communications) and the invoice come to Atlas Copco, but some people will want to buy things for them with personal credit payment... So, should they register in the Profile Store choosing "Other Company"?
Answer: As Micke replied to you: When it comes to paying with credit card is this service for your distributors and B2B customers (companies). When they register as distributors or customers they have to pay with credit card. For employees, there will be a solution, but it will be part of phase 2 of the project (first we need to see how the shop works for the company and double check if there are any special cases where this solution is not possible). It seems is not a problem for European countries .... but outside Europe may be needs to be a different solution (legal issues).

Question: Can I ask for one only montly invoice?
Answer: If you are interested in one montly invoice, please send an e-mail with the request to Creon.

Delivery time and transport:

Question: Is there a fixed delivery time? for example shipment within Europe if everything is in stock maximum 4 days or so?
Answer: All orders, both inside and outside of Europe, will arrive within 2-5 days depending on your location.

Question: Is there also option to deliver directly to private addresses? we have people in the field in whole Eastern Europe (from Poland on the north to balkan countries on the south) with no office background we are used to supply materials to their home addresses.
Answer: It shouldn't be a problem, as long as delivery information is detailed enough and there are contact person (phone nbr.) in case there's nobody.

Security:

Question: How to handle the data protection law policy with external buyers?
Answer: The Data protection law is guaranteed by Creon Promotion (regarding internal and external users). Creon is committed to the Data Protection Directive (EC Directive 95/46/EC) and Electronic Communications Privacy Directive (EC Directive/2002/58/EC.

Question: What is the security level of the portal, specially when credit card payment?
Answer: Credit card payment uses SSL 128-bit encryption and is PCI certified by VISA/Master Card . The users' accounts to the web shop are password protected, but do not uses encryption. There have been no successful attempts of hack attacks or frauds. Uptime of our server is close to 100%

Question: How can I get updated in facebook?
Answer: Notifications in facebook are possible if you are a fan of the Atlas Copco page www.facebook.com/atlascopco

Question: What is the solution for Canada? Are the goods shipped from USA or Sweden? Will Creon work with a Canadian supplier?
Answer: A third party solution for Canada and USA is foreseen for Phase II of the project. Creon has already contacted some recommended suppliers, but they still need to discuss and to agree. These months we have been more focused in the general launching, but once the launch has been done (still CP launch is pending and foreseen for next 29th June) Creon will come back on the Canada and USA solution.
